The Simpsons' Home Interactive!

Week four: Design a lesson plan activity to make the students talk about the house after learning it or reviewing it with the Simpson Interactive home.

Task 1:
Instruction: Click on the green arrows to and tour the house.While discovering the house answer the following questions:

1- How many rooms are there in The Simpsons house?
2- How do the Simpsons get to the second floor?
3- How many people live in The Simpsons house?

Task2:
Instruction: Tour the Simpsons rooms and cross out the wrong item:

1- In Bart's bedroom, there is a bed, a bookshelf, a lamp, an alarm clock and computer.
2- In Lisa's room, there is a telephone, a mirror, a bookshelf and a television.
3- In Maggie's room, there is a Cd player, a craddle, a bin, a window.
4- In the kitchen, there is a washing machine, a stove and fridge.
5- In the living room, there is an armchair, a television, a rug, a lamp, a picture.
6- In the family room there is a piano, a heater, a chiminey and a sofa.

Task3:
Instruction: Describ what the Simpsons are doing in the rooms:

1- Homer is .................
2- Bart is ..................
3- Lisa is ..............
4- Maggie is ...........

Task 4:
Instruction: Match the colors with the rooms:

pink, purple, blue
Maggie's room is .........

Task 5: Integrated writing/ Speaking:
Instruction: Based on the Simpsons activity write a paragraph about your dream house, include the location and type of the house, state how many rooms, what are they and describe the equipment in each room. To conclude your writing state if you like it or not and why?
You may need to use adjectives like : big, small, nice, lovely, modern, cosy, .....
